3 Songs You Should Blast Every Morning

OK, I'm really just looking for a reason to put these videos on the site. 3 great songs from 3 very underrated bands. I know most of you probably never heard of them but that's why I'm here. Next time you are at The Exchange, check the dollar bins. You may get lucky. I put the lyrics after the video so you can all sing along.

The Wildbirds- 421
The Wildbirds come from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and have only released one album, the fantastic Golden Daze. Rumor has it that the band broke up and then got back together again. Whatever. This song rocks.

This place unwinds all night in my mind
Smoke one, two, three
Don't ever believe in what you did not see
I've been fighting, She's in hiding
I'm on fire, I'm on fire

Everybody loves you but nobody cares

Phone rings, police, this time for me.
I will return
but never forget what you have learned
I've been shaking, too much caffeine
I'm on fire, I'm on fire

Everybody loves you but nobody cares

Everybody's dancing
Turn one time for me
Everybody's singing
Sing one time for me
421

Everybody loves you!

The Black Angels- Bloodhounds On My Trail
The Black Angels got their name from The Velvet Underground song The Black Angel's Death Song. No offical video but this will work.

Standing on the front porch, looking left and looking right.
The bloodhounds out to get me, I already feel the bite
The rules of the road state, to hate those who hate
Sleeping in wet coffins, frozen warnings melt away

But you say no to me, just quit saying no to me
Just stop saying no to me, 500 times a day see

The billboards on the highway, are the prophets of today
The roadkill speaks in poems through ads and through campaigns
The warden has his rifle, and the sniper's like an owl
I'm hiding in the tall grass with God and Vernon Howell

But you say no to me, yes you say no to me
Just quit saying no to me, 500 times a day see

The Secret Machines- Nowhere Again
The Secret Machines decribe their sound as "space rock". Whatever the hell that is.

Cellophane flowers never happened for me
I've been sleeping the day off
Watching the night fall
Covering nowhere
Filling my time share

There's a woman in the mirror in a fiery state
As she motions to me I start turning away
She's lifting her dress up
Trying to keep up

You'd be surprised how we race
While our lives erased

Another alone on an everyday night
Thinking the morning
Looking for alright
Warming the blood flow with poison
I don't know why

Maybe the rain will stop following me
Dripping the colors
Running the daylight
Over the cloud burst
Hoping it don't burst

Right before my eyes
Erased, our lives erased

We know we're lost in nowhere now
Now we know we're lost in nowhere now

Maybe the rain will stop following me
With millions of colors reflected in daylight
Right on the kick drum, turning the sound up

Another alone on an everyday night
I think in the morning, I think I'll be alright
Watching the blood flow
No wonder I don't know why
There's a woman in the mirror in a fiery state
She motions to me--I start pulling away
She's lifting her dress up--all the way up
Don't look surprised
Erased, our lives erased
