Confirmed!

For those of you who thought that the Pens Game 7 thriller victory over the Red Wings last year was a fluke, you can finally lay that down to rest. In what was perhaps one of the most anticipated regular season games of the year, fans across the nation tuned in to watch the Pens defeat the Wings by the same score(2-1) as that fateful game last June, and once again in dramatic fashion. Perhaps, one can argue, that this game might have had an even more entertaining ending. Sidney Crosby scored the game winner in the shootout, as well as the Pens regulation goal. The other head of the two headed monster, Evgeni Malkin, added the insurance goal in the SO. Perhaps the real story of this game was the stellar goaltending shown by both Marc-Andre Fluery and Jimmy Howard. While Howard stopped 46 shots, Fleury came up big when it counted stopping both Datsyuk and Williams in the shootout and getting the all important W and 2 pts for his team. The always humble Crosby after the game had nothing but praise for Howard, but noted that his team deserved the win. Detroit's lone goal came in the third scored by Dan Cleary. The Pens' next game is tomorrow in the Igloo against the Sabres.

Too bad everyone in NEPA had to watch it online. What a joke WBRE is. I'll be at the game tomorrow! Wooo! Go Pens! Oh, and fuck WBRE!
