Oft-injured Pirates LHP, and all around good guy, Scott Olsen will be sidelined with a hamstring injury according to Pirates.com. Olsen, who has been bothered by shoulder injuries the past two seasons is currently in a battle with Brad Lincoln, Jeff Karstens, Brian Burres, Daniel McCutchen, and mainly Charlie Morton for the fifth spot in the Pirates rotation.
Olsen was brought in to compete for a spot in the rotation as a Free Agent after two miserable, injury plagued years with the Washington Nationals.
