Evan Meek to the DL

Since the Pirates system had a big time AA trip and then a AAA DL trip its only fair that the next level gets their own. Evan Meek will apparently head to the DL to strengthen his shoulder. Meek has looked off all season, and his velocity has gone down. Its often said that pitchers won't admit to injuries and I wouldnt be surprised if that was the case with Meek.

No word on his replacement but rumor has it former first rounder and indianapolis Indian Daniel Moskos might get the call.
